I should be free. Mother doesn't want me to visit until next weekend.

No. No specific plans. Just us, the Barns and a quiet night together.

Just one night? We could probably stay longer if you wanted.

What if I wanted it to be the whole week? Or until your mother wanted you to visit.

We'd have to see the others sometimes during that week, but I'd say yes.

Would we need to? I guess we would. At least make an appearance anyway.

The political events are this weekend. Next weekend is for family.

Yes, we'd need to. Blue and Adam would worry about us if we don't check in.

Adam wouldn't really worry. Not if we told him before we headed to the Barns and how long we'd be gone. Blue is a different story.

She'd make him drive her out to the Barns to check on us.

For some reason she doesn't think I can survive on a farm.

You know good and well that Adam wouldn't bring her to the Barns. Not if I didn't want her there.

But do we want him to suffer through her wrath?

We know that, but Blue doesn't. She thinks I can't handle being scuffed up.

It doesn't matter what Blue does or doesn't know or believe. Though, I guess we can save Adam from her wrath.

We should do that. He has enough to deal with without Blue bugging him about us.

Blue bugs him and there will be hell for her to pay. She's not our fucking keeper. Nor is she yours.

She thinks she is and it'll take time to break that habit.

Why would she think she's my keeper instead of the group's?
